Questions:

Your application should include: a cover letter, in which you
introduce yourself and explain the motivation for your application;
a clearly structured CV; scans of your most important credentials
(diploma, training certificate, undergraduate / graduate degrees),
as well as certificates of your internship and job references. If you
are applying for a position as an application developer or a media
designer, please send us additionally a sample of your work -
for example your own programmed code or an example of design
work. Due to practical reasons we would like you to apply only per
email. When you are sending your application, please make sure
not to write or copy and paste it in the body of the email. Rather
you should send all your documents as a separate attachment,
preferably saved in PDF-format.
When you are sending your application, please make sure not to
write or copy and paste it in the body of the email. Rather you
should send all your documents as a separate attachment,
preferably saved in PDF-format, to jobs@iplabs.de.
Do not forget to write in the subject line what you are applying for
(i.e. Application for the position as a Java Programmer). If you
have any further questions about full-time employment or about
the internship program, please write to job-info@iplabs.de.
If you would like to speak with us personally, then we will schedule
an appointment with you per email.
Your cover letter is like your business card. Within its contents you
have the opportunity to tell us about your motivation in applying for
the position and to state your professional goals. It is with your
cover letter that we get our first impression of you. Therefore it
would be a shame if you were to use standard phrases or repeated
information already listed in your CV. Your cover letter should not
be longer than a page - a mixture of what you are looking for, what
you can offer and why you could imagine IP Labs as a potential
employer. Your CV should impress us with its structure and clarity.
It would be best to divide your CV in informational blocks (i.e.
training, practical experience, qualifications, language skills,..)
instead of the traditional, chronological listing.
